Trip To Sadun Alla

We have organized a trip to visit Kitulgala area on 16/05/2009. This trip is organized by Ranga who is an active team player in our team. Main purpose was to plant few tress in a empty land area and have a fun with team members.

It was a great fun!!!!!!!!

Third Consecutive Elder's Home Event

We have successfully completed the 3rd annual elder’s home event on this 28th of March 2009. This is the one of most mind delighting event conducted by the BetterPlace4All team. The organizing committee has done the most valuable contribution by organizing this complex and time consuming event.


As the President of the society I would like to specially thank Gayan (Cheif Organizer), Tharanga, Ishara, Surawwera, Ishan, Chathura for their true effort. Also for all the other participants took place in this event and contributors who have supports in various ways.

Hope to meet all of you + some new faces in 2010. I wish all the BetterPlace4All members and the site visitors Happy New Year :).

Legalization of BetterPlace4All

Currently I'm trying to collaborate with out team members who are responsible for legalizing our team to make the legalization process quick. Our low officer Rukman Bandara is working on this for a while. All the things are ready for legalization and final move of translating constitution to English version is pending. After we complete this with the help of Kalpa Gunarathne we will be submit our registration to the relevant department to register our society as local NGO in Sri Lanka.

New Sponsoring List

Year after Year ..... So, all our BetterPlace4All members finished the undergraduate studies in University of Colombo School of Computing. Now we are employed as Software Engineers.

When we pass out new batch enter to the university. There are people who need help among them. From 240 batch we have filtered out 21 students who need help. Today we held Interviews for 7 student and selected five first year Undergraduates to give a top up.

At start we would only able to sponsor one but in second round we were able to make it six. All these are given by the our batch mates. So if any one likes to join with us send me a mail suranjith_e@yahoo.com

Hope we team will be able to add a small change to the society :)

New year function at Elders' home

Can you remember last year? At Gampaha elders' home we all did a great job. Now its time for our second iteration :D. At Bandaragama. We all are ready. So friends, lets do a grate job this time also. Tomorrow at 8 am at Bandaragama Elders' home..Lets make this new year a great one for our elders..
